I didn’t get much writing done this month (I’m dealing with massive moving dilemmas, among other stressful things), but I did manage to edit what I’ve got thus far for The Blind Word (Brimstone #1). Holy cow! Whenever I glanced at the document it’s all written in, it never seemed like it was coming along this nicely!

Along with making meager progress on TBW, I’ve made a very loose outline for Missing You, as well as a mock cover for when it’s complete. I’ve also come to the conclusion that I like that title very much. It might not be a working title for much longer… 😉 Missing You will probably be published around mid-March 2015, though I make no promises. It’s guaranteed to be a heart-wrenching book, and the tear-jerking scenes might just kill me.
I know for certain I will self-publish Missing You, and it will come out before TBW.
“Why?” you ask? The answer is simple: since Brimstone will be a nine book series (with the potential for a few side novellas revolving around some of the main characters), I don’t want to publish the first book until I have the second book finished and the third one started. I don’t want anyone who might love the series to have to wait an obscenely long time in between book releases.
So after Missing You is written, I’ll be able to focus on the writing of Brimstone books 2 & 3 while I get it polished and ready for publication.
During October, I won’t be putting much work into these projects at all, because my family will be packing, moving, and getting settled in at our new apartment. For that reason, I won’t post a progress report for October. I will, however, be participating in NaNoWriMo, so there will be weekly progress reports in November to make up for it. 🙂
